The AMOA ended 2011 by making donations to the CHED Santas Anonymous, the Mustard Seed, the Hope Mission and the Edmonton Christmas Bureau to help families and individuals over the Christmas season. This topped off a year of fund-raising through club-sponsored public and private events that also saw money donated to the Cross Cancer Institute to support local cancer patients.

According to AMOA President Brent Cummings, “the AMOA has always tried to sponsor fun events for its members and the public while raising money to support the local community. That’s what we’re about! All of this happens because of important partnerships with local community partners such as Freedom Ford, Sherwood Ford and the Edmonton Aviation Museum.” 

The AMOA is currently finalizing  its 2012 schedule of events and it promises to be action packed. So stay tuned!
